| | | | Jongno-gu is a gu in central Seoul, has been 600-year long as Seoul’s centre in many aspects; politics, economy and culture, since the Chosun Dynasty was established here. Jongno-gu’s history is so-called Seoul’s history, even the face and the heart of South Korea. The gu has been housing many of great places, some of the most worth a visit include palaces, Gyeongbok Palace or “Northern Palace”, located more toward the north, standing King’s residence and a backyard garden. It preserves the architectural style of the Joseon Dynasty. Changdeok Palace (Eastern Palace) and Gyeonghee Palace (Western Palace) are also beautiful, yet ‘the second to none’ has to be the Gyeongbok Palace. Jongno-gu has a nice flea market, Hwanghak-dong, get there by Seoul Subway Line 6, Dongmyo Station. | | Fraser Suites Seoul: From US$ 215 - Jongno-gu, Seoul Fraser Suites Seoul is a 23 storey purpose built luxurious serviced apartment development with retail outlets at the basement level.
