About Petaling Jaya:
PJ (as it is fondly known) is the satelite township 18kms along Federal Highway away from Kuala Lumpur.
Sunway Lagoon, theme park with a huge shopping and leisure complex called "Pyramid".
Malaysia’s rapidly expanding capital city centre is at least an hour’s drive from the new international airport, so it’s recommended you stay in the city centre, if you want to explore the capital.
Kuala Lumpur (or KL as it is known) has experienced huge growth over the last 10 years and has masses of shopping malls, a remarkably lively nightlife and interesting modern architecture. It’s still small enough to get around fairly quickly with a modern transport system. Highlights include Chinatown, Central Market and the Lake Gardens for a breather after the shopping!
