Tachikawa (Tachikawa-shi) is a city located 40 km west of Tokyo, where many find their nice accommodations, while they are travelling here. It also stands the Showa Memorial Park, an expansive leisure and recreational facility, occupied 180 hectares of grassy field and shady groves of tress, where flowers bloom all year-round, a part of the park landscaped as a traditional Japanese garden, where a formal tea ceremony can be held in the Kanfu-tei tea house.
