Teluk Dalam Resort is situated on a cove on the northwest of Pangkor Island off the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia. The Resort occupies 40 acres most of which is hilly. About Pangkor Island:

The islands of Pangkor and Pangkor Laut off the coast of Lumut are serenity set within golden beaches, blue waters and cool, refreshing breezes; and simply perfect for windsurfing, scuba diving, snorkelling, swimming and fishing. Perak carries the title of Darul Ridzuan, meaning the Land of Grace. It covers a total of 21,000 square kilometres and houses a population of roughly 2 million. Perak of long ago was famous for and prosperous due to its rich tin deposits. It was from the local word for silver tin ore, that this state got its name, aas perak means silver. And it was this discovery of tin by Long Jaafar, that brought forth the influx of immigrants to the state. The capital of Perak is Ipoh, and Kuala Kangsar is its royal town.
