Reminiscent of a Tudor mansion from Shakespeare country, Concordes - The Lakehouse stands majestically on a hill in the Cameron Highlands , backed by state reserve forests with spectacular views over the Sultan Abu Bakar lake. Built by the late Colonel Stanley Jack Foster, the resort blends perfectly with the surrounding rural landscape, and warm and welcoming hosts create a very special atmosphere for guests. Hotel Location in Cameron Highlands

About Cameron Highlands:

Tucked away at 1,500 metres above sea-level on the mountain range along Peninsular Malaysia, this former British Hill station still retains the charm of an English village with old country houses and golf courses. The character of this area is a legacy of the days when the British fled the heat for the cool temperatures (average 16-26 C ) of these highlands. Known as “Malaysia’s cool green carpet” the highlands are famous for their picturesque tea plantations, terraces and flower gardens and offer a complete contrast to tropical Malaysia.

Pahang Darul Makmur, the Land Of Prosperity. This largest state in the Malaysian peninsular is the proud owner of a land mass spread over all of 35,000 square kilometres. This state's capital city is Kuantan. Pahang's royal town is called Pekan, which translates literally into "town". The state capital of this state is Kuantan, 45 kilometres to the north of the royal town. Pahang consists of 11 main districts of Kuantan , Pekan, Rompin, Maran, Temerloh, Jerantut, Bentong, Raub, Lipis, Cameron Highlands and Bera.
