About Ipoh:
The city of Ipoh is home to Teluk Intan's Leaning Tower and Ipoh's Darul Ridzuan Museum, which carries very interesting artefacts on the subjects of the history and development of Ipoh. It was from the local word for silver tin ore, that this state got its name, aas perak means silver. And it was this discovery of tin by Long Jaafar, that brought forth the influx of immigrants to the state. The capital of Perak is Ipoh, and Kuala Kangsar is its royal town.
